About Me

I am Kimberly Wall and I use art and technology to tell stories. I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Psychology minor at University of Arizona in Tucson.  Entering the work world as a horse trainer in the hunter/jumper world, my creativity focused on the means by which I communicated to each and every horse.

Later obtaining a Certificate in Computer & Digital arts, I have enjoyed creative directorships at software companies the last twenty years.  Most of my work is user interface design and digital graphics.  Film, story-boarding and voice-over are utilized in many of my projects and add to the palette of a varied skill set.

A jill-of-many-design-trades, I am a master of none of them.  Thriving in a collaborative, entrepreneurial and creative environment, the projects in the non-profit sector inspire me most.  User interface design require that they be touched, that they invite and that they help communities connect – patient to physician, tourist to city, animal to rescuer, individual to community.

I used to weave web sites but I spent more time troubleshooting browsers than creating, so now I am a front end gal and let smarter people do the work under the hood.

I give to causes, try to be gracious and look at things from the other person’s shoes.  I am a positive thinker… if you dwell on the worst case scenario and it comes true then you’ve lived it twice, haven’t you?
